About us

The Musique-Cordiale Festival takes place during August in the south of France, in the idyllic village of Seillans, in the Var, situated in the hills between Nice and Aix-en-Provence. Participants stay in hotels, camp-sites and houses rented in and around the village during the festival. After rehearsals, which take place in the morning and late afternoon, singers and players eat dinner together most evenings. These are very convivial occasions that also involve accompanying family members as well as friends and supporters from the local community.

Concerts in Seillans, Bargemon and Mons

The 2008 festival is organized by Pippa Pawlik and the team. The festival is a co-production between Musique-Cordiale and La Ville de Seillans. L’Association Musique-Cordiale is a French association, under the terms of the 1901 law (présidente: Pippa Pawlik). The Musique-Cordiale Festival Society and Musique-Cordiale Productions are British organisations. Jacques Leforestier supervises arrangements for the Festival Musiques en Liberté on behalf of the municipality of Seillans (René Ugo, Mayor).
