MUSIQUE CORDIALE International Festival & Academy

International summer festival in the Var

Seillans & the Pays de Fayence, Provence, France

CONCERTS: 30 July – 10 August 2024
including Baroque delights, chamber & orchestral music and a little jazz, and featuring Verdi’s opera La Traviata & with the Verdi Requiem as the closing Choral concert

It proved to be a fabulous festival in Provence again this summer; and soon it will begin all over again. Join us again in 2024 for our 20th year!

Musique Cordiale is an annual summer festival, bringing together music, excitement and fun. Each year we invite a mix of established musicians with selected up-and-coming young talent from all over Europe to sing and play for our festival audiences, who include local and other French music-lovers as well an equally international  – and loyal – group of people of all ages drawn to the area for Musique Cordiale. Members of the orchestra and choir form  a variety of ensembles and, together with soloists, rehearse ready to share top-quality performances of classical music (and a little jazz) in an inviting Provencal ambiance that combines the food, wine, warmth and smells of summer in Provence with a programme of wonderful sights and sounds. Intimate up-close chamber music and instrumental recitals in charming medieval chapels are interspersed between orchestral masterpieces and resounding choral oratorios in larger churches, town squares, vineyards and an amphitheatre.

  • And for those who love to SING: why not JOIN THE 2024 FESTIVAL CHOIR? Information for potential singers is HERE NOW: if you are an experienced and/or good singer, do come and sing the Verdi Requiem with the Musique Cordiale Festival Choir under the baton of Graham Ross this summer, with orchestra and some great soloists in a lovely venue for summer music-making!?
Check out the exciting details about our choir concerts and rehearsals in Provence in the hills of the Pays de Fayence and by the Mediterranean in Menton. Please consider joining us to sing in a delightful ambience and some special venues this summer!

Making exquisite music together in a convivial atmosphere – share the performance!
