After another fabulous year of exciting music in France ….
the 15th annual international summer festival in the Var, France, which featured 17 exciting & diverse high-calibre concerts,
9 – 17 August 2019, including Handel’s SAUL, a major choral work,
as well as jazz, solo, orchestral & chamber music, song & opera & the Summer String Academy in Provence, ENDED on 17 AUGUST with a rousing final refrain!
We hope to see musicians, singers and our lovely enthusiastic audiences again for the autumn weekend in Britain and for another summer of music in 2020 (Brexit and other unpredictables permitting!)

2018 saw another group of talented young players join renowned players Levon Chilingirian (violin), Susie Mésàzaros (viola) & Jane Hyland (cello) with piano accompanist Philip Saudek at our Summer String Academy for Strings in Provence – with the chance to perform solo and ensemble pieces and to play alongside professional players in an orchestral concert. (The 2019 Academy is fully subscribed including several free places on our international bursaries).
Musique-Cordiale weekend in Kent

The 2019 Autumn Musique-Cordiale weekend in Kent, GB, featuring a performance of Handel’s MESSIAH and other choral music over 3 days (following the success of Handel’s Messiah & Robert Schumann’s Dicherliebe in November 2018) will be announced soon.

Situated in the hills between Nice & Aix-en-Provence, Musique Cordiale in summer has become
one of the most significant music festivals in Europe: experienced professionals and stars, exciting young talent, wonderful music
For 2 or 3 weeks in late July & early August each year, over 125 musicians and singers pour into Seillans and the Pays de Fayence from all over the world to embark on two weeks of intense music making in beautiful medieval hill towns & villages in the Var, Provence, France
