Tickets are required for entry to Evening concerts
Vous aurez besoin d’un billet pour les concerts du soir.
Tickets are for sale on line (in advance) until 15h on the day of the concert
– and then a local box office opens at the door 60 mins before the concert.

Start times for Evening concerts:
20h for all indoor concerts and
21h for out-door concerts
The concert on 3 August also begins at 8PM though the welcoming drinks and snacks are from 19h.
(Doors open 30 minutes before concerts begin)

Ticket-holders for the Pre-festival Soirée Musicale & Gala Dinner on 26 July
are invited to arrive from 19:30

– au pied de CALLIAN, looking up at Callian & Montauroux from this lovely recently-restored de-consecrated chapel in the valley beneath

“Sailing by…” Folk, Jazz et la vie Baroque
Une sélection de délices musicaux dans un cadre de concert animé et informel, y compris des performances classiques, folk et jazz, y compris de musiciens du festival: européen, anglais, norvégien et brésilien.

  • Dans la première partie du concert, certains de nos solistes classiques interprètent un mélange de différents types de musique – y compris le jazz, le folk et la musique du monde. Parmi ceux-ci, un quatuor à cordes dirigé par Emma Purslow, violon, interprétera ‘Viaggio in Italia’ de Giovanni Sollima (b 1962) et d’autres œuvres.
  • PLUS Torelli : Concerto pour trompette avec Kayleigh Neff, trompette. (Giuseppe Torelli’ un compositeur italien un peu plus ancien, (b 1658) était un altiste, violoniste, professeur et compositeur italien de l’ère baroque moyenne.|

  • Jazz fusion d’ambiance scandinave/brésilienne par Gabriela Garrubo, voix et guitare Peter Søreide: Gabriela Garrubo est une chanteuse de jazz norvégienne-brésilienne qui a étudié à l’Académie Grieg de Bergen. En mai 2023, elle a sorti son premier album “Rodando”. Avec le guitariste de jazz Peter Dybvig Søreide, elle interprétera la musique de son album et vous découvrirez un équilibre entre les sons modernes et rétro, mêlant le jazz scandinave aux influences de la musique brésilienne des années 60 et 80. Les paroles, chantées en anglais et en portugais, explorent les thèmes de la découverte de soi et de la force dans un monde beau, mais chaotique et souvent injuste. Le duo interprétera également de la musique brésilienne classique de compositeurs tels que Tom Jobim et Joao Gilberto.

Les célèbres Quatre Saisons de d’Antonio Vivaldi, interprétées par Oliver Cave…. Et la remarquable version alternative de d’Astor Piazzola, le roi argentin du tango, interprétée par Emma Purslow. une soirée de musique virtuose pour cordes explorant le printemps, l’été, l’automne et l’hiver à travers les perspectives contrastées Vivaldi et Piazzolla.
