Andrew Staples, tenor Alisdair Hogarth, piano Antoine Zède, recitation Andy, Alisdair & Antoine join forces to explore the many issues around the subject of love, juxtaposing English songs with French poetry, philosophy and psychology, to understand why we love. The concert will include works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gerald Finzi, Benjamin Britten & Thomas Dunhill and will also feature the French premiere of a new song written by Cheryl-Frances Hoad.
